1978: Fans make it rain Reggie! Bars, hurling the candy onto the field after Reggie Jackson hits an Opening Day home run at Yankee Stadium. The Bombers and Ron Guidry go on to 4-2 win over the White Sox.

2010: The Yankees receive their 2009 World Series rings in a ceremony before their home opener. Hideki Matsui, the Series MVP, gets to join his former teammates for the ceremony, as he now plays for today's visitors, the Angels. The home club bang out 13 hits for a 7-5 win, with Andy Pettitte picking up the victory with six scoreless innings.
